Upload stage 1
Fill out the form with all the information that we will need to do your job,
such as artist, tracklisting and mastering notes.
Please use the 'Notes' field to tell us as much as you can about the track
and what you want from it. This will help us get the best out of your recording.
For example: "Mixed on ProTools. Sounds a bit crunchy. Please make warmer. Loud vox is deliberate."
Click >Continue when you are done.
Upload stage 2
For each track, click the Browse button and select the appropriate sound file.
When you are ready, click > Continue to upload your tracks.
You will see a progress bar as the files upload to our secure server.
When the upload is complete, you will see a summary of your job.
You will also be sent a confirmation email with the same information for your records.
Once your chosen engineer has received your job, he will contact you by email to discuss your requirements and to let you know when you can expect your mastered tracks back.
You may want to upload extra tracks to us for a number of reasons.
If you have made any changes to your mixes, either at our engineers’ request or in your last minute search for perfection, then you will need to upload new versions.
Sending us reference tracks for mastering is always helpful, for example
something within your genre or something with a sound that you are aiming for.
Log In to Mastering World, click >Resume Upload, and scroll to the bottom of that page.
Select the number of extra tracks and follow the process from there.
At this point, you do nothing. Go to the pub (or bar). Relax. Play tennis. Put your feet up.
Your chosen mastering engineer will download your tracks to their suite.
They will listen, analyse, and get a taste and a feel for your music.
Then they will EQ, compress, convert, level, limit, space and finish your tracks.
They will do whatever it takes to get the best out of your music.
When your tracks have been mastered, you will receive an email from Mastering World
Click on the link in the email to go to the download page.
Once you have listened to your tracks, please revisit the download page to approve the job.
If you require changes or amendments to the work, please contact your engineer.
Often, minor amendments to the work are done without any extra charge,
though this is at the discretion of the engineer.
Complex or repeated changes may incur an extra charge.
